Singlish.

Well, its been a while since I’ve so called “blogged”. 
I swear before I stopped “blogging” people actually wrote stuff. Now all I see is pictures and random clips of random famous people that said/did stupid stuff..
But anyways, I’ve decided to just simply blog about my trip that I just came back from !

In December, I flew off to SINGAPORE with my mother and Ian. Our first stop from Toronto was Singapore. We spent 4 days in Singapore. Everyday that we spent in singapore I had an amazing time ! I got to go back to places I haven’t been to in a while and had my MOST FAVOURITE drink and snacks !
Then flying out to Jakarta, I had missed my flight due to a traffic jam. Now for people who live in or know much about Singapore, its VERY rare that there would be a MASSIVE traffic jam without an accident happening or any disturbance.
So we all took it as a sign that the flight we were suppose to be on was not meant for us and leaving the next morning was a better option.

Flying out to Jakarta was something that I was actually very excited to do. The last time I had been in Jakarta was when I was 12 years old. I don’t have much memory of how the country looks but all I knew was I was gonna go to TIMEZONE (kind of like Dave & Busters, but for kids) and have some yummy INDO food !
My stay in Jakarta was only for 10 days. So during the duration of my stay, I accomplished to go to the malls that were famous, hang out with my childhood friend, and see where Ian came from growing up and met all his friends. I couldn’t have asked for a better stay in Jakarta !

Then the next destination was, BALI ! I have never been to Bali before, so for me I had no expectations and I was just ready to be chillin’ in Bali !!
I stayed in Bali for 5days and 4nights. On the 2nd day, I headed out to the beach where I waveboarded for the FIRST TIME. To my little knowledge of salty sea water, I was SHOCKED when the water touched my lips. And drinking that water was absolutely disgusting ! I wasn’t sure of exactly HOW to waveboard, so in the beginning I struggled but then I became pro.. no big deal.

From Bali, I had headed back to Singapore. This was my final destination before flying home to Toronto. I stayed in Singapore for another 6 days.
During the 6 days, I spent my birthday with my beloved family. I couldn’t have asked for a better place or better people to spend it with. And the day before, Ian and I had gone to Universal Studios - Singapore !
We had an amazing time and I truly couldn’t have been more happier.

In the end, saying goodbye to my family was the hardest part. Leaving them and not seeing them till the next time I return was hard. Even though my family is half way across the world and in a completely opposite time zone as I am, I’m glad they are still around whenever I need them :).

Overall, my trip was fun and amazing. I enjoyed every second of it and I can’t WAIT for the next time I go back !!
